Rowena is a Nurse Practitioner with advanced experience in bio-psychosocial assessment and management of mental health presentations. She can provide both pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions including psychotherapy. She holds a special interest in Family Based Treatment (FBT) for Anorexia Nervosa and was working in an eating disorder specialist team for 2 years.

 She completed her degrees and masters at University of Wollongong and Charles Darwin University respectively. She has been working in mental health for 21 years, within both inpatient and community health settings in Canberra and Queensland. 

 As a Nurse Practitioner she is able to diagnose, prescribe, provide pathology, radiology and specialist referrals, as well as comprehensive assessments and management plans for the ongoing treatment of all mental health conditions, including individual and family based psychotherapy. All of which have a medicare rebate applicable.

• Mood and affective disorders

• Anxiety and Panic Disorder
