Dr Lorne Dunlop is a Clinical Immunologist and Allergist consulting on the Sunshine Coast, providing specialist care for adults and selected older children with allergic and immune system disorders. With over 15 years of healthcare experience and dual training in pharmacy and medicine, he offers a comprehensive and evidence-based approach to diagnosis and management.

He completed specialist training across all major Clinical Immunology and Allergy centres in Queensland, with broad experience in conditions such as food allergy, drug allergy, chronic urticaria, autoimmune and autoinflammatory diseases, and primary and secondary immunodeficiency.

As a Sunshine Coast immunologist and allergy specialist, Dr Dunlop focuses on clear communication, thoughtful clinical assessment, and collaborative decision-making to support patients and referring doctors in achieving practical, long-term management plans.

Referrals are welcome for:

Allergy (adults and children >10 years)

  • Allergic Rhinitis (inc. aeroallergen identification and desensitisation)

  • Food allergy assessment and oral food challenges

  • Drug allergy evaluation and delabelling

  • Venom allergy assessment and desensitisation

  • Acute and chronic urticaria and angioedema

Please note paediatric autoimmune and immunodeficiency conditions are not managed by Dr Dunlop
